Pregnant, Helen Skelton revealed that her Saturday night plans were cut short after being rushed to an “emergency” date.
The Countryfile host is expecting her third baby with husband Richie Myler and shared the eventful night with her Instagram followers.
The 38-year-old shared a photo from inside a dentist’s waiting room, next to which she wrote: “Not quite the Saturday night I had in mind.
“Emergency dentist is …”
The star pounced on her dentist, hinting that her problem had been resolved.
She wrote: “God bless this tooth wizard superhero.”
Earlier that night, the pregnant star shared a photo of her family of four enjoying a party night.
The family were all dressed in comfortable clothes to weather the cold.
Helen showed off her blossoming baby bump under her long black jacket and knit scarf.
She finished the look with black leather boots that featured silver studs.
Standing in front of a lavish house with Richie and their two sons, Ernie and Louis, beaming at the camera.
She wrote: “The festivities… there is nothing stressful about taking kids who think they are ninjas around a beautifully decorated historic house at night.
“Nothing at all.”
Rugby player Richie smiled wearing an all-black outfit with a wool hat as their sons leaned in the middle of the happy couple.
Helens is due to have her third child on New Years Eve.
Earlier this month, the star joked when chatting with BBC Radio Wales host Carol Vorderman about the possibility of giving birth while filming her Channel 5 show, On The Farm.
“I can’t believe you do Winter On The Farm three weeks before giving birth to your third [child]exclaimed Carole.
Helen replied, “Everyone is saying ‘Oh that’s kinda close’.
“But, as I’m sure any parent will attest, going to work sometimes feels like a break – especially on a live broadcast.
“My husband said to me, ‘Is this a good idea? “
“I said, ‘I’m going to have my tea brewed every night, you won’t! “”
