NORTH COVENTRY PA – Optometrist Dr. Marie K. Gwinn has joined the staff of Community health and dental care as a new eye care provider at its offices in Coventry Mall, 351 W. Schuylkill Rd. She is currently accepting new patients, he added.
In addition to general optometry, Gwinn specializes in specialty care including pediatrics, learning-related vision disorders, myopia management, specialty contact lenses, and medical optometry.
She received her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Elkins Park PA and a Bachelor’s degree from West Chester University in West Chester PA with a major in Liberal Arts and a minor in Biology. Gwinn is secretary of the Chester-Delaware Optometric Society and is affiliated with the American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry.
Gwinn’s experience also includes volunteer vision screening service in Guatemala, in rural Haitian villages, and locally in and around the Philadelphia area.
