(OTC: “CAWW”), announced that the board of directors has appointed Christophe Dominello as Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Lance Funston will remain chairman of the board. The board of directors has also decided to end the engagement with Janney Montgomery Scott LLC.
Lance Funston, Chairman of the Board, said: “After discussions with interested financial and strategic investors, it was clear that the company could achieve better future value for our shareholders by waiting at this point, while working diligently to both to increase sales and reduce expenses. Before joining CCA Industries, Christophe Dominello had served as President and CEO of Ducere Pharma, LLC., where he successfully revitalized iconic brands to include Doan’s®, Bufferin® and Cruex®. In two years, it has grown to over 40,000 distribution points across the portfolio and increased organic sales by 170%. His strategy led to the acquisition of Ducere, offering investors a return on investment of 200%. Prior to joining Ducere, Dominello held leadership roles at Ultimark Products and Nutrisystem Inc. At Ultimark, as CEO, he helped raise more than $ 15.0 million in private placement to advance the goal of ‘acquisition of the business, leading to four acquisitions in its first year (including Prell® Shampoo, Denorex® Shampoo, and others). He also increased revenue by 200% for the company’s garden division by securing a placement at Home Depot. During his eight-year tenure at Nutrisystem, Dominello successfully launched the brand internationally and was a key member of the leadership team that drove the sales of $ 20 million at $ 778 million. Prior to that, Dominello worked for Arthur Andersen in their Enterprise division focusing on startups and turnarounds. Dominello obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Notre-Dame Mendoza College work. He also served as a captain in United States Air Force where he received the USAF Medal of Commendation for preparing to support emergency wartime operations.
