Ambiance Dental in downtown Calgary offers emergency dental services that offer unique benefits for the whole family.
Ambiance Dental provides all the services necessary to be an emergency care provider, such as restorative procedures and a variety of cosmetic dentistry options to ensure your smile can return to its original beauty.
“Seeing your regular dentist in an emergency has many benefits for the patient, which is why we make sure to leave room in our schedule each day to meet the last minute needs that arise for our patients,” explains Dr. Rose Nagra, Clinic Operator and Chief Dentist at Ambiance Dental. Dr. Rose’s passion for the health of her patients is evident in the time and care she devotes to addressing each patient’s concerns and ensuring she is available when you need her!
Dental emergencies include a broken tooth, severe toothache, lost filling or crown, swelling or infection of the gums, face or neck, heavy bleeding, and cracked or damaged teeth. If your problem is not on this list, it does not necessarily mean that it is not an emergency. Whatever your concern, you can call the clinic and our team will let you know how soon they can offer you an appointment.
When you visit our dentists for an emergency appointment, we will assess the problem, provide as much relief as possible, try to prevent the problem from getting worse, and provide a follow-up treatment plan. If you are a patient, we will schedule a follow-up appointment for you. If you are not, we will share the follow-up treatment plan with your usual dental clinic.
“Giving our patients the care they need, when they need it is important to our team at Ambiance Dental,” says Dr. Rose. “That’s why we strive to see any patient with an emergency within 24 hours of contacting us.” During your emergency appointment, they will take x-rays, check the condition of your teeth, smooth out the sharp edges of broken teeth, prescribe medication and/or refer you to a specialist. The purpose of your emergency dental visit is to relieve your discomfort, diagnose the problem, and advise you on your options for resolving it. You can expect to leave the clinic with the situation stabilized, prescriptions for antibiotics or painkillers if you need them, and a plan to address the issue further as soon as an appointment can be scheduled.
